Tentive ("Tentive", "we", "us") is operated by [OPERATOR NAME], [ADDRESS]. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the Tentive app and website, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

Account details: your email address, or the identifier provided when you sign in with Apple or Google.
Profile: your name, username, profile photo and bio. Your profile is public.
Content: posts, photos and Showcase posts you publish.
Backings: who you back, who backs you, and when each backing started, including your backer number (for example 3/142).
Safety reports: reports you send and the people you block.
Support messages you send us.

Information collected automatically

Device and app data: device type, operating system, app version, and a push notification token if you allow notifications.
App integrity checks: we use Firebase App Check to confirm requests come from the genuine app.
Diagnostics: crash and performance data that helps us fix problems.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not show ads.

2. How we use information

To run Tentive: create your account, show your profile, deliver posts to the right backers, and keep your seats and backer numbers accurate.
To suggest people you may want to back, based on backings between you and people you already back. You can turn off showing who you back in Settings.
To keep the community safe: review reports, filter objectionable content, enforce our Terms and Community Guidelines, and prevent abuse.
To send notifications you have turned on.
To respond to support requests and to meet legal obligations.

3. Who can see what

Everyone: your name, username, photo, bio and up to three Showcase posts.
Your backers: posts you publish while they are backing you. People who back you later do not see earlier posts.
Only you: the full list of your backers and your total backer count, unless a future setting you choose says otherwise.

4. Service providers

We use Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Cloud Messaging, Hosting and App Check) to store data and run the service. If you sign in with Apple or Google, those companies process your sign-in under their own policies. If Tentive later offers subscriptions, payments are handled by Apple through the App Store; we do not receive your card details.

5. Where data is stored

Your information is stored on Google Cloud servers, which may be located outside your country, including in the United States. We take steps to protect it wherever it is processed.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is active.
When you delete your account, we delete your profile, posts, photos, backings and blocks. Some records may stay in backups for up to [30] days before they are erased.
We may keep limited information longer when the law requires it, or to deal with reports of serious abuse.

7. Your choices and rights

Edit your profile, delete posts, or unback anyone at any time in the app.
Turn off Discover visibility and notifications in Settings → Privacy & notifications.
Delete your account in Settings → Delete account, or ask us at support@jointentive.app.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your data, or to object to some uses. Email us and we will respond within the time the law requires.

8. Children

Tentive is not for children under 13. If you are under the age of digital consent where you live, you need a parent's permission. If we learn that a child under 13 has an account, we will delete it.

9. Security

Access to posts is checked on our servers, not just in the app, so locked posts stay locked. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and fix issues quickly.

10. Changes

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect.
